Jelly Belly
September 03, 2011

post image I always wanted to see the Jelly Belly Factory when I was in California, but every time it has been closed or I didn’t have time to visit it.

This time I made it to the factory and got to go on the tour of how they make Jelly Bellys. It can take up to almost a month for one jelly belly to be made. There are over 50 different kinds of flavors to try.

On the tour it shows all the sugar it takes and ingredients that are put into making the jelly belly. At the end of the tour I got a sample bag of jelly bellys to try out.

My favorite ones are the pear, popcorn, and roasted marshmallow. In the gift shop they have a place where you can sample every flavor they have.

I tried pencil shavings and dog food flavors. The pencil shavings tasted like it smells when you shave a pencil. It was really weird.
