Last year I didn't get a chance to carve pumpkins because I was on a trip. This year I was home, but when I went out to buy the pumpkins, I ended up having to go to three places before I found some to buy. I couldn't believe that almost everywhere I went they were sold out already. When I finally found some there were only about 6 left, so I picked the best three out of them.
I carved my pumpkin to look like a dog. I think that it turned out pretty cute.

Usually on Halloween it is snowing or raining and really cold. This year it was 65 outside which was great because once nighttime came around, we had the most trick or treaters that we have ever had. They started coming to the house around 4pm and we were out of candy at about 7:30pm.
