I haven’t written in a few days because if you can’t say something nice sometimes it is best to say nothing at all.
Sometimes it feels like the problems with the internet outweigh the positives. In a recent conversation with a friend it was put to me that the internet is really just the biggest and fastest copy machine in the world.
Most of the time there is really no reason to keep taking new pictures and building new devices because within a few hours someone runs off and steels all of the hard work just to give it away to millions of people. It has been a week of dealing with people who give out their usernames and people who crack the site to upload the whole thing on sites like rapid share.
The big problem there is that if they make the money I don't have any to build the good stuff that everyone including myself really likes to see.
Sometimes I wish I could just worry about participating in good bondage instead of constantly trying to police the bad guys who disrespect the efforts of so many talented people out there who are just trying to share their work with everyone else.
I just try to think about all of you that are still honest and supportive to keep everything going here.
These things just seem to consume my thoughts some days.
